Endurance Racing is Back
Last year, DKC was excited to announce the return of our endurance racing series. We challenged 25 teams to take on our newly finished North Track and the action did not disappoint.
With 2024 comes the addition of at least 4 new endurance races with the first one taking place on February 17th. Choose your teams, pick your strategy, and come test your skills and endurance against some of the best drivers around!

Race Length
> This race will be 2 hours long
Race Day Schedule
> 8:30am: Gates Open to Teams
> 10:00am: Mandatory Drivers Meeting
> 10:30am: Team Weigh Ins
> 11:00am-1:00pm: Race
Race Start
> Le Mans Style Start: 1 teammate is responsible for holding the kart and making sure it stays running. 1 teammate starts on the opposite side of the track and on the drop of the green flag, runs to get in the kart and start the race
Pit Stops
> Each team is required to make 5 pit stops
> Pit Lane Closes with 10 minutes to go
Cost
> $300/Team
Team Info
> Each team consists of 2-4 Drivers
> 25 Teams total
> 175lbs Minimum average driver weight
Team Areas
> Team areas are available on a first come first serve basis
> Teams can set up tents, bring seating, and team gear
Mechanical Failures/Kart Issues
> If your team has a mechanical failure on track and are unable to continue, raise both your arms up and a track worker will bring you a replacement kart
> The track worker will do their best to assist you with your teams transponder but it is ultimately up to the driver to make sure it gets transferred correctly to the new kart.
> If you suffer a mechanical failure and are forced to change karts you will be allowed to complete 1 less mandatory pit stop
Penalties
> Rolling through stop box/unsafe pit entry: 20 seconds
> Switching kart (no mechanical issues): 3:00 minutes
> Unsafe Driving: Case by Case basis
> Missing Mandatory Pitstop: DQ
> Team coming in under weight: DQ
